It serves as a center for student communication, information and participation and as a forum for student development. All registered full-time or part-time graduate students are members. The board consists of eight voting executive officers and two first-year student representatives. We are developing new materials for automobiles, buildings and wind turbines, innovating manufacturing processes to drive U. The Building Technologies Research and Integration Center and the National Transportation Research Center develop breakthroughs to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings and transportation sectors. The Carbon Fiber Technology Facility supports technology development and commercial deployment of carbon fiber.
Quality assurance system of the University includes consistent internal and external quality assessment of studies, research, art activities and quality improvement based on assessment results. Quality assurance is carried out according to the University, national and international priorities of studies, research and art activities as well as to the feedback and suggestions of stakeholders, recommendations of external experts and examples of good practice. Quality assurance system of the University is focused on the development of quality culture, when compliance with the highest quality standards is a common interest and aspiration of the entire VMU community; monitoring of activities is performed constantly, information on study, research and art activities is analyzed, and changes are designed responsibly. The development of quality assurance system is based on the principles of openness, collegiality, academic ethics, personal responsibility, comprehensiveness, representativeness and publicity.

ANZOA's members are individual Ombudsmen working in not-for-profit industry-based, parliamentary and other statutory offices, which meet accepted high standards of independence, impartiality and effectiveness, and which observe the Benchmarks for Industry-Based Customer Dispute Resolution CDR Benchmarks.
